Craig Zumwalt is a versatile artist who has transitioned from the realm of music to the captivating world of literature. With a rich background as a singer and songwriter, Craig has seamlessly woven his passion for storytelling into his debut novel, “Dunkles Bones.” Originally conceived as a movie script, Craig’s creative vision evolved into a compelling novel that promises to enthrall readers.

Writing the book was relatively easy for Zumwalt once he established the main elements of his story. He spent about five months absorbed in the process, barely remembering writing it, until he had a finished product. The book’s title refers to an archaeologist named Dunkleman, who discovered the bones of a giant Placoderm, later named Dunkleosteus.

Zumwalt lives with his wife and daughter near Eugene, Oregon, where they own a successful restaurant.
